Cebu City or “Dakbayan sa Sugbo” in Cebuano and “Lungsod ng Cebu” in Tagalog is the capital of Cebu Province in the Philippines. Cebu City lies on the eastern shore of the island of Cebu and is the first Spanish settlement in the country.
